Terms of Service

Easy Degree is a general planning tool, not an official academic record and not academic advice. Degree requirements, course lists, prerequisites, credit counts, GPA figures, AI suggestions and graduation estimates shown in the app may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Requirements change between catalog years, vary by campus, college and concentration, and are subject to exceptions, substitutions and waivers your school controls.

Always confirm anything that matters — what you must take, whether you can graduate, and when — with your school's official catalog, degree audit system and your academic advisor. Do not register, drop, withdraw, or make financial-aid or graduation decisions based on Easy Degree alone.

• Courses you enter, upload or sync — from your own typing or your transcript upload. Accuracy depends on that source and on your review of it.
• Verified catalogs — a small number of programs whose requirements were transcribed from the school's published catalog page, labeled "Official catalog" and linked to the source. Even these can lag behind the current catalog year.
• Partial school data — official name, city, state and website only, with no requirement list. Labeled "Partial".
• AI-generated drafts — such as a suggested minor plan. These are illustrative examples generated by a language model. They are not your school's requirements and are labeled as drafts.

We never present an AI guess as an official requirement. If a requirement isn't labeled "Official catalog", treat it as your own tracking.

You're responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for the accuracy of what you enter. Don't use Easy Degree to break your school's rules, to misrepresent your academic record, or to harass other students through tutor listings.

Uploading a transcript is optional. Easy Degree is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any college or university. School names and logos, if shown, are used only to identify the institution.

Tutor listings are posted by students, not by us. We don't vet, endorse, employ, background-check or guarantee any tutor, their qualifications, their pricing or the outcome of any session. Any arrangement, payment or meeting is strictly between you and the other student — meet safely and use your own judgment.

Easy Degree is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information in it is current or correct.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easy Degree and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any delayed graduation, missed requirement, lost credit, tuition or financial-aid cost, registration error, or academic outcome arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or twenty-five US dollars.

We may change or discontinue features, and may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. You can stop using Easy Degree and request deletion of your data at any time.

Easy Degree is operated and sold by Gavin Thomas Worrell, an individual sole operator ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the app you agree to these terms. You confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement, or have your guardian's permission.

Easy Degree Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited AI advisor chats, an ad-free app and priority support. It renews automatically each billing period until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy — a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The free plan is supported by advertising in the iOS app, served through Google AdMob, and is limited to five AI advisor messages per day. Pro removes ads and the daily limit. We do not control the content of third-party ads and are not responsible for advertisers' products or websites.

Don't use Easy Degree unlawfully; don't commit fraud, spam or impersonation; don't infringe anyone's intellectual property; and don't interfere with the service's security (no malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, resale, or circumventing plan limits). We own the app, its software, content and branding, and grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under your plan.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using the app and request deletion of your data at any time from the Profile screen.
